Over the term of the project Northumberland College intend to meet the following principle outcomes:
Biomass Production.
• A network of sub regional biomass processing and storage hubs appropriately spread throughout the North East relating to key areas of supply and demand.
• An increase in collaborative projects and businesses throughout the wood fuel supply chain.
• A developed wood fuel supply chain that maximises the use of locally sourced fuel for wood heat installations throughout the North East.
Bio Gas Production.
The supply and installation of effective and efficient digesters in rural communities, including an effective supply of raw materials suitable for digestion.
